We are fortunate to have access to some of the most exquisite woodlands and lakes in Surrey, providing picturesque settings for your family photographs.

Having captured moments for numerous families in and around Surrey, I am well-acquainted with stunning locations that are perfect for photo sessions throughout the year.

I believe that high-quality family photography should be available to everyone. As a result, I have devised two types of family photoshoots tailored to your specific needs.

The full family shoot is perfect for those looking to schedule a session with their extended family, encompassing grandparents, parents, siblings, grandchildren, and even dogs. This extended session provides ample time to craft images for each member and tell the unique story of your family.

For the past 12 years, I’ve been capturing moments for families in Hertfordshire and Surrey. My passion lies in vibrant, outdoor photography, where I aim to freeze moments of your family playing, laughing, and smiling together.

While my work has received awards and been showcased in various publications, the true joy for me comes from crafting memories that will be cherished for years.

The bespoke full family photoshoot

The complete bespoke shoot is precisely what it sounds like – customised to your family’s preferences! This encompasses choosing the location and time of the shoot, with my recommendations based on my extensive knowledge of the area.

These photoshoots offer a fantastic means to commemorate significant birthdays, anniversaries, or family gatherings. They can involve extended family members, spanning across generations, including grandparents, parents, siblings, grandchildren, and even dogs. Many of the larger families I encounter often express that the last time they were all together was during a wedding celebration!

Your choice of location

Allow me to suggest the perfect location or opt for a place that holds special significance for your family.

At least 40 images to choose from

You’ll be provided with approximately 40 images to choose from, presented in both color and black-and-white options.

1.5 hour shoot

Typically, family shoots last up to 90 minutes, but if we require a bit more time to capture the entire family, that’s absolutely no issue.

Ideal for extended families

During the bespoke shoot, there is ample time to capture group shots, family portraits, and individual images — sufficient to fill an entire album!

A few months after the birth of our first baby my husband and I decided we wanted to have some professional photos taken of our new family. We already had hundreds of photos of our little boy that we’d taken, but inevitably one of us was always behind the camera! We chose Nina having seen some of her work online and we both absolutely loved her style. We were absolutely delighted with the results and more than one photo brought a tear to my eye! We found it so tricky choosing which photos to buy that we decided to get them all and our favourites now have pride of place on our lounge wall. How long after the shoot will I receive my images?

I aim to get the photos to you within 14 days but if you do need them urgently please let me know at the time of booking.

What happens if the weather is rubbish?

Living in the UK its likley we will get rain on some shoot days. If its light rain and on and off we will go ahead and I will allow extra time. If there is a storm or very heavy winds we will delay to another date.

What is your cancellation policy?

How many people can come to the family shoot in Surrey?

For the bespoke full shoot you can have immediate family plus grandparents, aunts, uncles and their children plus dogs.

For the mini shoot its immediate family only (plus dogs)

What colours should we wear?

I have reels on my instagram and videos on youtube to help with styling.

What is a shoot with Nina like?

As an experienced Surrey family photographer I am for the shoot to be fun and a good time for you all. We will explore the outdoors and the kids can play aswell as being naturally posed.

What is the best Surrey location for the shoot?

I know Surrey locations really well and once you have told me your needs for the shoot I can suggest the ideal spot.

How long should a family photoshoot be?

A family photoshoot would ideally be between 60 – 90 minutes.

If the shoot went on much longer than this you may find small children can get a bit fidgety. An experienced location photographer will be able to shoot against a number of different backdrops and photograph many different poses in this amount of time.
