Whether you are looking for a photo shoot to update your walls, or you a celebrating a big birthday or anniversary, an outdoor family session is the perfect way to celebrate your family.
We are incredibly lucky that in Camberley and the surrounding area, we have some of the most beautiful woodland and lakes which make for the most perfect backdrops for your family photos.
I have photographed hundreds of families in and around Camberley and have stunning locations to work from at any time of year.
Choose from 2 types of family photoshoot – bespoke or the mini
I believe that great family photography should be accessible to everyone so I have created two types of family photoshoot depending on your needs.
Option 1: The bespoke full family photoshoot
The full family shoot is ideal if you wish to book a session with your extended family – think grandparents, parents, siblings, grandchildren & dogs. This longer session ensures we have enough time to create images for everyone and capture the story of your family.

Option 2: The mini family photoshoot
For smaller families (immediate family members) this is a great way to get a smaller number of images to update your walls. Shoots take place on specified dates and times.

I have been photographing families in Hertfordshire and Surrey for the past 12 years.
I love colourful, outdoor photography and capturing your family playing, laughing and smiling together. My work has won awards and been featured in lots of wonderful publications but the reason I love this job is so I can create memories that you will look back on for years to come.

Due to my training commitments, I am often booking family shoots 3 to 4 months in advance so if you have a particular date in mind please do get in touch as soon as possible.

The bespoke full family photoshoot
The full bespoke shoot is exactly that – tailored to your families wishes! This includes the location and time of the shoot (I still make recommendations as I know the area so well).
These photoshoots are a wonderful way to celebrate a big birthday, anniversary or family get together and can include extended family such as Grandparents, parents, siblings, Grandchildren and dogs. Most of the larger families I meet say the last time they were all together was at a wedding!
Your choice of location
Let me recommmend the ideal spot or choose somewhere that is special to your family.
At least 40 images to choose from
You will receive around 40 images to choose from and see these in both colour and black and white
1.5 hour shoot
Most family shoots last up to 90 minutes but if we need a little extra time to capture the whole family then no problem
Ideal for extended families
On my bespoke shoot we have time for group, family and individual images – enough to fill an album!

Top questions about family photography
When will my images be ready after the shoot?
It takes on average 2 weeks to send your images to view but if for any reason you might need them urgently please let me know at the time of booking.
What happens if it rains?
It’s certainly possible knowing our UK weather! If the rain is on and off we will still go ahead and allow a little more time. I might also suggest a location which I know has shelter. If its going to be a total wash out Nina will be in touch to arrange a new date.
What if you need to cancel?

How many family members can I bring to the shoot?
A mini family shoot is for immediate family (Mum, Dad, Kids and dogs) . If you wish to include Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles then a bespoke family photoshoot is ideal
What should we wear?
Ahead of the shoot, I will send you a video with inspiration of what to wear. I am also more than happy for you to send phone photos of your outfits if you would like additional help.
What is it like to work with Nina?
Nina is an experienced Camberley photographer with over 12 years photographing local families.
She will make sure the shoot is lots of fun and will have considered the best location for you and your family.
How do we choose a location?
As a Camberley photographer, Nina has spent many hours finding new locations on her daily dog walks. Camberley has some incredible locations and Nina can advise on the best place to shoot including lakes, woodland and urban spaces.
How long should a family photoshoot be?
A family photoshoot would ideally be between 60 – 90 minutes.
If the shoot went on much longer than this you may find small children can get a bit fidgety. An experienced location photographer will be able to shoot against a number of different backdrops and photograph many different poses in this amount of time.
