photography inspiration - Spring
Throughout the year I work with a very talented group of professional photographers on my 12 month mentoring programme and I wanted to share some of the amazing images they have been creating! Each month we will each publish one of our favourite recent images around a theme and this months theme is SPRING. Here is my contribution for the month of April. Thanks
My most recent favourite Spring image was taken at the Elvetham Hotel on my recent outdoor workshop for professional photographers. It was taken early afternoon when the sun was at its highest and I chose to shoot this on my Canon 70-200L at 2.8. The sun was directly behind my subject which casts a lovely glow onto her hair. I love the movement in her hair from the wind and her incredible hair colour. Spring blossom can actually be very challenging to shoot so we did spend time considering our angles to make sure the branches weren’t overwhelming the image and that there was no major green colour cast on her face from the grass.
