No – this course is for beginners but also for those who have some knowledge and would like a refresher. Each course often has attendees with a mixture of knowledge and it can make for a fun day.Â

It’s certainly possible knowing our UK weather! If the rain is on and off we will still go ahead and allow a little more time. The home of the course is indoors and we have options for shooting outdoors that are sheltered.

Having been on a beginners photography courses before I found it was so broad that I forgot most of it, I really just wanted to take better pictures of my family and that’s why I found Nina’s course so brilliantly useful rather than just interesting! Nina covered how to improve my shooting and what I can alter on my camera in different conditions. There were some light bulb moments when Nina explained some really simple things that I just hadn’t heard of before. It was a perfect mix of technical and practical  for a beginner photography course and I came out of the course thinking…’I can do this!’
I came across Nina’s beginner’s photography course online and was really pleased to find it was taking place just around the corner from my house. We started the day learning about ISO and aperture (which I had heard of but had NO IDEA what they meant) and once we got to grips with the technical aspects of our cameras we headed outside to practice. Nina is really fun and relaxed and knows her way around so many cameras, I now feel super confident that I can take great photos of my kids on our upcoming family holiday.
I was gifted a DSLR for Christmas and had been looking for a 1-day photography course in Surrey and came across Nina on Google. I emailed her and she was very helpful when asking about lenses that I decided to book onto her course. I was not disappointed as we learnt so much on the day but I also had lots of fun and met some like-minded mums and dads. I would 100% recommend Ninas Surrey photography course and now I am planning to take the intermediate course next. Â
I found Nina’s beginners photography courses incredibly useful. It covered all the technical basics in an easily digestible manner, plus lots of invaluable tips from a professional who knows what it’s like to photograph children!
The course was in a really relaxed, friendly, non-judgemental atmosphere, and it has been brilliant to be able to follow up what we learnt through our Facebook group, where we can post our efforts and ask questions as they come to us
Thank you Nina for such a fun and informative day! I now feel as if I have a better understanding of my camera and how to create that lovely blur in the back of my photos. You were totally right that ‘seeing the light’ has changed my photos for the better and like you said I can apply what I have learnt to my camera but also photos taken on my mobile phone. I can’t wait for your intermediate course sign me up now!
What a brilliant day! I learnt so much about my camera but like Nina said learning about the light was such an eye-opener! I was totally placing my family in the wrong location for images which explains why I was never happy with them. I am also very pleased with my new found selfie knowledge! A great day and I would 100% recommend Ninas Surrey photography course.Â
I loved the whole beginners photography course, it was great to learn how to use my camera properly and to learn the various settings.Â
The practical side of the day was immensely helpful as it really put the new skills to practise and helped the information sink in!
Can’t wait to try out the new skills and really appreciate the follow-up work Nina puts in to help with any questions the group have
Finally, after 5 years of owning my camera (which I bought when I had my first child!), I now know how to use it! I tried to read the camera manually but it was incredibly complicated with lots of words I didn’t understand. Nina showed us how to quickly set up our camera to make sure we didn’t miss those lovely moments that I often would take instead on my phone. I enjoyed the course so much I am planning on buying my husband a place on the next photography course for his birthday. Thanks again Nina a really fun and informative day! I would totally recommend you for a beginners photography course Camberley
