I am always really pleased when local newspapers report on Photography news and I was really pleased to see that Berkhamsted Today, Hemel Today, Basingstoke Gazette, Bucks free press, St Albans Review and Tring Today all wrote an article on my recent Photographer of the Year win.
Hemel Hempstead photographer crowned Photographer of the Year 2014
Nina Mace, from Leverstock Green in Hemel Hempstead, has been named as the Children’s, family & Lifestyle Photographer of the Year, by the Guild of Professional Photographers.
The competition, which is a culmination of a years’ worth of competition, is hotly contested with over 10,000 images entered by photographers from all over the UK & Europe.
Nina was also awarded the ONLY Gold bar in the Children’s category and went on to win the Photographer of the Year award with a total of 27 award winning images.
Nina specialises in outdoor photography and works with families in and around the Hemel Hempstead, St Albans and Berkhamsted area. She photographs children and families in some of this area’s best loved outdoor spaces including Boxmoor, Gadebridge Park, Verulium Park and Bunkers Lane.
On the back of her recent success she also now offers Beginners Photography Training for parents and mentoring for up and coming lifestyle photographers. This year alone she has taught over 100 mums and dads how to get the best from their cameras.
Nina’s work has been featured in many magazines and recently featured by Vogue.
